Hello, there! The Chronicles of the Young and the Hopeless is a little website designed to educate, amuse, and inspire you. Well, probably not you in particular, I mean you collectively. Anyway, it's a place on the interweb you can post your little creative doohickeys, give and/or recieve advice, read other's work, and maybe even learn something new. Just about every kind of creative expression is welcome here, so let loose, all you oddballs out there! LET LOOSE! Hee hee hee.

We're currently looking for a current events reporter, a columnist or two, and more creative stuff!

Submission
  • What's Accepted - The Chronicles focuses mostly on written work. If you have artwork or a webpage of your own you'd like brought to attention, send in the link and we may just write you a review!
  • Grammar - Your work needs to be at least readable. Try not to make spelling or simple grammar mistakes, because they can make understanding difficult. Don't worry if you mess up, though, because work is reviewed and little typos can be corrected. =D
  • Content - Nothing explictly sexual is accepted on this site. If your piece contains information or graphic depictions of violence or other material sensitive people might find offensive, that's alright. Just make sure it's in good taste, and put a little warning on it.
  • What's Not Accepted - Chatlogs, fanfiction or commercially published work. Plus, plagiarism results in blacklisting. Original work, basically, is what we do. It's what we LIVE for!
  • Last Of All... - Have fun! =D

Annie
Annie founded this holy website on which we surf. (cue heavely music) She's basically the editor.
She lives in New York and attends Kingston High School, where she majors in art. She's generally regarded as odd in a good sort of way. She hopes. She lives in the basement of a small suburban home, a home she shares with her father, sister, and doggie. Woot!
Catherine
Catherine is a fifteen-year-old chemistry fanatic. She lives in Kingston, New York with her father, mother, and younger sister, and attends Kingston High School. Catherine runs the advice column, Ask Catherine, and actively participates in many bonfire events. She has an affinity towards hammocks, lawnmowers, and placing items in alphabetical order. Catherine may break out in song at any moment, and she comes with a warning label that reads: "Caution: Contents under pressure. Do not aim bottle at face while opening." When questioned as to the purpose of said label, she has this to say: "There is no wrong way to eat a Reese's."
